Dev log #10
This week we focused on continuing to make improvements on our game as well as getting more feedback from playtesters. We had gotten a fair amount of feedback as well that was a great insight into furthering improvement into our game. Some of the tasks that made from the feedback that we would like to get done or will get done (depending on their priority level) was upping the speed of the enemies, fixing the camera again as well as collision issues, fixing the map to give a sense of player direction, fixing the enemy detection issues, fixing the generators in the map, fixing the playing of the cutscene, possibly adding story beats if there is enough time to do so, finishing the quest system and adding level music and start menu music. The camera issues seemed to be fixed but the development of the player concept work continued and will be finished very shortly. Some of the multitude of tasks that had gotten completed this week are: scribing the feedback, turning the feedback into allocated tasks, more music work and switch box work, design concept work and starting work on fixing the map and player guidance.
